My VW Beetle had the check engine light on, EPC light and traction control off due to code P1022 (throttle/pedal position sensor A, low voltage input). . Since the throttle position sensor is built into the throttle body, the entire throttle body had to be replaced. Instead of spending over $200 at your local auto shop or $500 on an OEM, this one fits perfectly and performs like an OEM. Replacing the throttle body was easy and only took 30 minutes or less. I had to remove some of the air hoses, disconnect the connector and the 4 bolts holding the throttle body. After installing a new throttle body, be sure to match the new throttle body by "teaching" the new one. via VW OBD readers. This part solved my check engine light problems and also removed the EPC light and traction control error.
