I use them to help kids wash their hands for at least 20 seconds!

Telling kids to hum "ABC” while holding them doesn't guarantee at least 20 seconds of cleaning time. Have a 30 second visual timer. We put one on every sink in the house, gave the kids their own and had a few spares left. My kids (9, 10, 11) find it very helpful to click on the timer, turn on the water, add soap and rub/wash until the timer runs out and then get up.
