So when I bought them I expected to be able to plug headphones into them. It wasn't, and it upset me greatly. I decided to go ahead and try out the speakers before shelling out another $40 for a mount that would allow me to use headphones. And so far I'm happy with what I've done. The speakers work really well. I can hear phone calls, music, GPS, etc. They are amazing! Installation was easy for me too. And since I bought a double pack, my friend's helmet now has one of these units as well. This allows her to ride her motorbike longer as she can now listen to music and not just road noise. Having said that, it's REALLY hard to tell where the phone button is when you're wearing thick gloves. I tried urging him to ask for directions and I could never tell when I had it. The same applies to the rotary switch. I tried changing the music tracks and I had no idea if I was actually rotating them. Those were the winter riding gloves I wore, so it's not entirely unexpected. -------------one. Easy installation2. The speakers actually work pretty well, so I might not need to switch to headphones. 3. Excellent microphone technology, no one could tell when I was on the phone that I was on a motorcycle.4. I have a modular helmet and boom mic, although this is the best option for it, and it's mounted in the helmet behind the cheek pad and is difficult to adjust every time I open or close my face. WARNING - this pertains only to the type of helmet I have and is not reflected in the rating for this product. This is just a scam I want to report to other people who have modular helmets. 2. Tons of cables to consider when installing in a helmet. I don't know if we can make everything wireless, but my helmet now has an extensive network of wires running under the padding.3. The small phone button and jog dial are difficult to find with thick gloves. It's also impossible to tell whether you actually pressed the button or turned the dial.
