Review on Ezgo Powerwise 36V Golf Cart Battery Charger by Schauer by Bob Souza

Revainrating 1 out of 5

requires 4-5 cycles to charge

So I figured it would be worth spending some money and getting a more powerful charger for my EZGO. Batteries are about 18 months old. Connected to my new Powerwise 36 it charged all night and shut down the next day. Disconnected and rebooted and tried again - not good. After 4 consecutive cycles, the batteries were finally charged. After only driving his golf cart for about half an hour, the next time the same thing happened. Why do batteries take so many cycles to fully charge? The next time I charged my old little EZGO charger, it charged overnight. Maybe I got a bad charger. Do you think I should call the manufacturer? waste of money so far.

Pros
  • Cyclic Voltage: Flooded 2.47 V/cell; Gel and AGM 2.4 volts per cell. Can be pre-configured to customer specification for battery type.
