This is my fourth attempt to review this monitor. I have to say my first 3 weeks with it was a headache. Now that I'm familiar with the monitor, I refuse to play HDR or high frame rate games without it. First, let me talk about common issues. 1. Fan noise is something almost everyone talks about as a problem. I noticed it for the first few weeks of owning it, but it wasn't any louder than my computer. Now the monitor is 4 weeks old, I don't notice any fan noise at all. 2. My next problem was HDR causing problems with my other monitors, but it's not an Acer issue, it's all Windows 10 related. Turn off the CSM. In this case, the bios looks garbled and red, but it works. To work around this issue for me it was necessary to show the bios on the top screen. 4. There was an issue that caused the screen to go black and not turn on until I did a factory reset. I'm not sure why he did it, but after the first week he didn't. 5. This monitor can do everything, but not everything at once. Like 10-bit color and 200Hz? It's great, but you can't have both at the same time. I set the color change to 8 bits at 200kHz for games like LOL, but then change it to 144Hz, 10 bits with HDR for games like COD MW. Once you understand what this monitor is capable of and when to change its settings. This will be the best monitor you've ever had. Want a monitor you can just set up and start gaming? This monitor is not for you. It will take a few weeks to become familiar with this monitor. In most cases, it's not the monitors that are to blame. Most of my issues with this monitor relate to Windows 10 and how it performs HDR with a multi-monitor display setup. Even after weeks of problems and headaches I will not be returning this monitor. It looks so good and so slick that I can never go back to my old monitor. As I said, most of my problems are with Windows 10 and it only gets better with time.
