The UVB output is the highest on the market. This is the best lamp for UV rays and also dissipates heat as an added bonus. These lights are powerful, so always follow the instructions on keeping a safe distance from your animals. I use these bulbs for my Water Monitor, Mangrove Monitor and Rio Grande Red Ears. Evidence in animal health. I have never experienced MBD with these lamps. And the animals are healthy, active and colourful. They also want to eat more. I can say enough. The best lamp I have. But I use fluorescent lights with them for extra lighting. I propose a system with multiple light sources. (MVB with LED or daylight fluorescent lamps). They can last up to a year but always check with a UV meter. And headlights that are great for larger reptiles.
