Review on 🔧 Lisle 70500 Tap Socket Kit by Darth Naubert

These things should get five solid stars. At work we often use large sizes. Heavy industrial maintenance of hydroelectric power plants. I recently bought a set for my home shop as they have proven to be durable in industrial settings. When I received them and tried the smaller sockets #1-4, I found that the square part that keeps the taps from turning in the sockets was very finely machined. Only about 1/16 inch of the faucet is gripped. I then checked the sets at work and some have this problem as well. We rarely use them for small cranes at work, so this problem has gone unnoticed so far. Contacted Lisle and still no response. Cutting the faucets isn't really a problem, but removing the faucets can be problematic as it slips/bounces under light to low pressure. I will be sending them back to Revain for a replacement in hopes of getting a better made set in return.
