Review on Bridgestone Dueler A/T 001 245/65 R17 111T summer by Wiktor Gajewski ᠌

The right product for me, the price suited me.

The main fear I had was that if I bought off-road tires, the vibrations, noise, and hydroplaning in the rain would prevent me from comfortably driving on asphalt. Everyone I've spoken to has advised me to avoid driving an urban crossover on the road and instead to get a second car for trips outside of the city. The Dueler 001 changed everything as a result since its designers were able to blend soft city tires with the traits of a "aggressive" tread in these tires. There is no aquaplaning, no noise (although I read that they talked about it), no unusual vibrations, and no pain in the steering. The only drawback I'd like to mention is the lengthy stopping distance on dry pavement. The tires did not adhere to the ground with enough traction, so I had to engage ABS a few times. Of course, you may adjust to this and determine the distance ahead of time. There are a ton of other benefits to this model.

Pros
  • Oh my, there are lots. There was no aquaplaning, a pronounced noise, a good tread pattern, and a comfortable ride at 120 mph or higher.
Cons
  • On dry pavement, the stopping distance could be less. I deducted a point from the evaluation as a result.
