Review on BLITZU Cyborg 168H USB Rechargeable Bike Light - Super Bright Helmet Front Light Accessories. High Intensity LED for Any Bicycle. Easy Installation for Cycling Safety Flashlight by David Reyes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent headlights, bright, very noticeable during day rides and when dusk begins (update: lower star rating)

Bought front (white) and rear (red) super bright Blitzu Cyborg headlights for my new road/hybrid bike. Excellent headlights, bright, very noticeable in daytime driving, even at dusk. I use white/front in steady mode and back/red in normal/slow flash mode. Seems to work great and I've never even come close to getting hit by a car and driving on very winding, hilly back roads in New Hampshire. I did a lot of research on the lights before buying them from Revain and really feel they do a great job of drawing extra attention around corners or when obscured by shadows or roadside bushes and trees. Recharges easily and quickly with a short USB cable, but don't forget to take them off the bike after each ride to make sure they're ready for the next. But the charge seems to last a long time, and as far as I know I haven't been anywhere near depleted during two-hour rides. If I had any issues it would be that the "locking" mechanism that attaches them to the bike is a bit fiddly. The rubber strap itself is nice and solid, but the small square plastic slot that the back of the light fits into can sometimes be difficult to get into tight spaces like at the seatpost between the top tube and saddlebag. I can get it to snap into place every time with a little effort, but it's not just click and go like a front light that has more room. ----- Updated 3/25/2016 ----- Changed Rating from 5 to 4 stars: This morning when I removed both headlights to charge for tomorrow's drive, a plastic latch on one clicked (the other already had it). This makes both lights now, front and rear, without fasteners other than gravity and friction holding the light in the slotted mount. None of these failures are related to wear and tear, having only been taken out to charge a handful of times since being installed on the bike. I hope they both stay on future rides, but I'll return one or both if they turn up and I can't rely on them to stay bike-bound.
