I'm a retired electrician. I have many different cordless drills for different purposes. The mighty will weigh anything but a ton compared to the small. Normally I worked 12 hours a day. Trust me, 1/2, 1 or 2 pounds makes a difference at the end of the day. The 12 volt Milwaukee (bulletproof) that I use 85% of the time isn't powerful enough to drive a 3/4 inch blade. (my most common size) with a threaded tip. These bits have a sharp drill-like point rather than a screw-in point and feel like solid steel. They work great and drill rough, square-edged holes fairly quickly. On the rare occasion that I need to drill at an odd angle or drill a larger hole, I grab a larger drill bit and use a marine auger (again, drills a quick but "ugly" hole) with a point. , on the spot, with stones or thrown, they are cheap and time is money.
