Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Topeak Ninja C Bike Chain Tool: Compact, Sleek, and Efficient! by Robert Farrar

Would be great if it fitted my racing bikes

This tool uses a piece of rubber on the end that sticks out when you turn the handle. This allows you to press it down and fit it snugly against the steering wheel. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit in any of the three road bikes I own because the inside diameter of my handlebars is too small. I originally wanted this for my roadies as I don't want to carry too many things in my bags. On a mountain bike or city bike with large 7/8" handlebars, it fits in but is difficult to get out. Since you don't need these tools every day, it's not as bad as it looks in the video. If you put it to very loose, like in the video, it's definitely easy to get on and off, but you risk the tool coming out on bumpy rides and descents, so better tighten it, it gets 1 star, than for a road bike, but am I ended up using it on my mountain bike which I would rate 3 stars as it's not that comfortable and I usually already carry a backpack with a $7 multi tool in it.Overall it's a lot lighter than the two ends combined.I think I should have bought their bottle cage with built in tool compartment instead.
