Another quality product from Topeak.

Fits perfectly on my CX handlebar. Used it once in the garage just to see how well it works. Very happy with Topeak for the product and Revain for the service.

Sorry, but it just didn't work.

The tool doesn't fit on my two racing bikes - the connector is too small. One of my bikes has aluminum handlebars and the other carbon. What Topeak needs to do is also to include some larger diameter rubber stoppers. But in its current form, the tool will not work properly. More detailed information on which handlebar it fits should have been in the item description. I had a pair of Ritchey carbon bars that the tool fitted, but it was a B fit (kinda worked). The tool was so long that it touched

Works like a chain tool but not well as a tire end cap

These tools are heavy and their press-fit construction is insufficient to prevent them from falling out. Unlike most compression-style shaft end caps that use an open-ended hex bolt for tightening, this end cap is meant to be simply twisted and hand-tightened. This is particularly problematic with road bars, as the end of the bar tape is tucked into the tube to create a clean finish. The twisting motion only twists the bar tape and provides no traction. Finally, the supplied rubber ring fitsโ€ฆ

Would be great if it fitted my racing bikes

This tool uses a piece of rubber on the end that sticks out when you turn the handle. This allows you to press it down and fit it snugly against the steering wheel. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit in any of the three road bikes I own because the inside diameter of my handlebars is too small. I originally wanted this for my roadies as I don't want to carry too many things in my bags. On a mountain bike or city bike with large 7/8" handlebars, it fits in but is difficult to get out. Since you don't
