***This rating is for audio devices only*** I got it for my Loxjie P20 tube amp. People on some forum said this was an improvement over stock. This also has a higher current rating (5A vs. 1.67A at drain). In any case, I noticed that the sound is a bit fuller as a result. The change is very subtle, so it doesn't matter if it's day or night, but it's noticeable to my ears. But then again, with no music and when the amp was turned on at full volume, there was a hiss, which wasn't the case with the standard PSU. I think it's stronger than stocks. There is absolutely no hiss at the volume I'm listening to (I have to turn the level up 25dB above my listening level to hear anything). So if you want to get the most out of your cheap hi-fi gear, I recommend this. But I wouldn't use that with anything that costs $250 or more. Most likely, the ones that come with the kit are just as good, if not better.
