This works fine for any other application that doesn't have such strict .
This dropped the voltage from 24V to 12V DC but unfortunately it was above the ATX 12V PSU specifications so I had to return it. As far as I know, this would be fine for any other application that doesn't have such stringent voltage regulation requirements.
