If you already work with door hinges, it pays to get it right. I installed them when replacing hinge bushings and repairing pivot pins. After scraping and polishing the light rust and debris on the door hinge bolts, I screwed them in and tightened them with pliers. Be careful when tightening them with pliers or whatever when holding them near the end as they will get scratched and worn and then look awful. Also, don't press them too hard or they'll crush them. They are very useful when refitting doors and look very nice.
