Lower quality than OEM part - do not buy
I agree with other recent posts. This is not the same as the original Mercedes felt pleated filter; This new version has straight pleats and a different, lower quality, paper-like filter media. When I previously ordered this product it looked exactly like an OEM Mercedes filter but not this time. The "ECO" in the product name seems to mean saving. I already drained the oil before opening the package so I had to use it for a few weeks and buy another OEM filter. I would not recommend buying this one.
