I've been using these filters on my home oil stove for years and they seem to work well, no problems. I change them every year. I have found that my home installed oven is not the norm. Most home ovens have smaller media (filters) and use a cartridge-type oil filter. So when I asked someone to "tune" the stove, they never had the right size air filter or oil filter type with them, so now I just buy my air and oil filters from Revain and don't pay the maintenance staff for them. With that in mind, check with them before they service your furnace (or kettle) because I've found some costs are the same as whether or not they can replace your filters, which I think is a little crazy, them should at least reduce the price a bit if they don't have to (or can't) deliver those items.
