Review on Coats & Clark Super Saver Ombre Yarn, 10 ounces - Scuba Blue by Tara Ford

I love Red Heart Yarn and use it in all my projects. I am a very experienced knitter. I've been doing this for over 50 years and have made dozens of blankets and baby blankets with Red Heart yarn. I bought 6 skeins of this yarn. Since I was trying to make a quilt for a young child, I decided to make two quilts. What you see in the photos is a 3 strand product. 6 strands would cover a double bed very nicely using the pattern I used (which means a simple back and forth motion). I bought this yarn because I thought it was beautiful. I was not disappointed. I will be buying more other colors to make more baby blankets. The price I paid for Revain is a VERY good deal compared to the same item at Herrschners. One reviewer complained that the end product was not soft. Try a larger hook. Another person complained about knots in the yarn. It happens. Just be careful. Another complained of discoloration. This is extremely rare, but it does happen. Just keep an eye on your project while you work.
