Haven't used this multimeter much yet, but it seems fine for home use. It doesn't have auto-ranging, but it could be better as auto-ranging tends to slow reading updates. Update after over a year, I've been using this extensively lately and I've even done the wrong thing by plugging a wire into a 10A plug to measure a large current and forgot to put the wire back in bring to its normal position, and measured 120 VAC and I heard loud noise. After that I corrected the position of the wire and measured AC again and only measured 92V. So I thought I fried something in it, but after turning it off and on again, it fully recovered. I was amazed at how it was designed to help recover from abuse.
