My cat loves this. He was both 7 years old and both kneecaps were not connected to his legs. And they bother him. We do our best to deal with the pain. But this heating pad is his favorite spot. My only problem is that the numbers flicker when I regulate the temperature. I don't think it should. For example, I can't always tell which setting is enabled because sometimes the numbers flicker. So it's not great, but I can feel the heater and it never overheats, and I've never had an electrical problem.
