It weights about 10 lbs. It is a little heavy for me to carry up or down two floor levels everyday. But, it is so much fun to use it outside. Even though it says for kids 6-12, a petite adult can ride it too. It takes about 5 hour for it to charge fully. There is a plug for the charging cord when the scooter is not charging.The downside is that the scooter is not folderable, so it takes more storage area and it is a bit harder to carry.The assembling process is pretty easy. I just connect the power cords on the lower side first, then tighten 4 long screws together. Then unscrew the top 4 short screws to attach the handle and re-tighten it.The bar lights up when I press the front button. I have step on front button first, then manually accelerate. Then step on the back button. The scooter will start accelerate on its own. If I take my foot off the back button, the scooter will stop accelerate. To slow down, I just step on the cover of the back wheel and it will slow down pretty fast. There is a kickstand for the scooter, so I can keep it standing instead being on the ground.
