BUYER WARNING - This is NOT a cast iron cottage and is of poor quality. As others have pointed out, the bottom surface is much rougher than a regular cast iron skillet, making it very difficult to clean (making it a lot stickier and making it a lot harder to get a non-stick coating). Aside from being low quality, they command the same price as a real broth or other reputable cast iron skillet. Do yourself a favor and avoid that pan! Get a well-known brand/non-Chinese frying pan. Better yet, find an old Wagner pan at a flea market.
