Review on ATP B 336 Automatic Transmission Filter by Michael Sharp

I bought two of these at different times, that's why. 6 speed transmission. After several months of poor shifting (slip and bumps) and investigating the problem, it became clear that a transmission problem had started to appear (see this thread: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?5488563). -My-experiment-with-the-09G-transmission/page1) My first step was to lower the oil pan and see if it's worth draining the leaking transmission oil (@3.5 quarts) and changing the filter if I inspect it for damage. Force before replacing the valve body. I am buying this item to do just that. I drove from December until this weekend, no problem (problem not solved and got worse). So I bought the VB from Reaman and reused that kit (never reuse seals or filters) and did it all over again replacing the VB as well. Shifting problems are gone, I'm still riding in learn mode but it shifts 10x smoother. as previously. Will I recommend it? Yes, at this time I have no reason to believe that this article will cause any problems.
