Great little modern bike light

I've been using this product for a couple of weeks now and I think this is a great little modern bike light. "Modern" to me means it's based on bright LEDs, has a lithium-ion battery with decent battery life, and uses its own mounting system instead of the old square bike light mounting standard. (I wouldn't mind if this light lived up to the old light fixture standard, but few lights do that these days, which means failing to meet the standard is considered more modern!) Good: - The light itself is well made. All plastic but looks and feels good. - Seems like 100 real lumens. Typical general purpose lights claim some ridiculous lumens and get away with it because ordinary buyers can't measure the brightness. This light should blow out most in the water - Withstands 4 hour rides in normal flashing mode after a full charge - Strongest case I've ever seen with a micro USB charging port Neutral: - The charging port is microUSB, not USB- C So far it's ok, but eventually it will become a minus. - It features a proprietary mounting system that envisages installation to a regular diameter round seat tube/post. Breaking that assumption takes some creativity. Any sleeve over the charging port will break sooner or later. In this case, the flashlight is no longer waterproof. Bad: The product description states that the flashlight is waterproof and can also be easily mounted on uneven surfaces. It's fair to call it resistant to light splashes (just don't submerge it in water), and a little creativity can solve installation problems (see photos; think thick rubber bands first). But none of the statements is absolutely true. Five stars despite overly enthusiastic marketing on the grounds that it was designed as a modern day bike light and it works as intended.
