Arrived less than 12 hours after order! Although the outer barrel is slightly larger than the stock, the threaded portion is the same as my Road King. First. check if you have any wiring problems. Disconnect the two wires, turn on the key and connect the two wires with a paper clip. (Don't hit metal parts on your bike with a paper clip!) If your brake light comes on, the switch is probably the problem. Next Step. Buy one of them. paste it You will need to hold the back of the mount with a 5/8 open end wrench while using the extension socket to remove the old one and install the new one (I used a 1" extension socket). Don't overtighten! Imagine it's an exhaust valve. Be careful. Not too tight. Just good and neat. Reconnect the wires. Now you should be happy. Highly recommended.
