This was purchased for a 60lb third grader to soften up an Ikea Snille seat (looks very much like the white chair in the product images). While sitting at his homework desk he complains that the foam is not dense enough and flattens out too much. He also complains that it’s too warm and sweaty to sit on. He’d rather use a couch pillow. While this is a good-looking product with an attractive cover, I’d say it’s fundamentally flawed for long duration "desk sitting” by using very low density and non-breathable memory foam. It can also shift a lot on smooth seats. Thankfully the Snille seat is a bit bowled and the pad generally stays in the middle.Suitable for dinner sitting or barstool use of less than 1 hour. If you need a pad for long-term desk sitting, or plan to use with a plastic chair, look for different core material and a cover with anti slip properties on one side.
