This OXO Good Grips Nylon Skimmer has become my favorite tool when I must remove and strain the food from the pot or pan. Durable nylon material, long handle and superior bowl design make this spoon durable and extra easy to maneuver in large and deep pots. The round holes allow the spoon to drain quickly and prevent "runaways" that can slip through the long slots on other types of spoons. The bowl of the spoon is neither too big nor too small. I think OXO got it right. The updated handle design is also commendable. The old style handles seemed too bulky. The handle is large enough to be comfortable and to hold you securely, but not too large to easily fit in a pitcher or dish drawer. I highly recommend it.
