Good spoon for lifting and sifting food from a pot or pan. Sturdy and comfortable long handle makes it easy to grip the spoon in large/deep pots. The bowl shaped spoon is a good size. The holes allow the spoon to drain quickly and keep the food on the spoon easily.

Good spoon. We accidentally bought it because one night we realized we didn't have a spoon with drainage holes. I wasn't thrilled with the build quality but I think it's worth it. This OXO Good Grips Nylon Skimmer has become my favorite tool when I must remove and strain the food from the pot or pan. Durable nylon material, long handle and superior bowl design make this spoon durable and extra easy to maneuver in large and deep pots. The round holes allow the spoon to drain quickly and prevent "runaways" that can slip through the long slots on other types of spoons. The bowl of the spoon is neither too big nor too small.
