First of all I have to say that the NAS function does not work at all. The first time you set it up it works and after that no one can guess. I just forgot it was there and use it like any other wireless router. I have experience as a network administrator and I've had a hard time getting it to work the way I wanted and that means understanding what's inside each little switch. on this thing does. I can't think of anyone who is less familiar with these inconsistencies! The installation wizard only works well if you literally follow each step. Even after using the setup wizard, you must cycle your modem/DSL and router to see the Internet. You definitely need dual-band wireless-N adapters to get the best and fastest connection. Some of the default settings will not allow you to get the best connection if you have Linksys adapters, such as B. the "Frame Burst" setting for each band. When everything is working properly, this is a great router and very secure, if somewhat. Disconnects that happen from time to time, which seems to be the case with all wireless connections. Linksys should not be held responsible for this.
