This is a great USB hub if you place it next to your computer. The supplied cable is not particularly long, but is used less frequently. Instead of using most hubs that use a USB a-to-b connector, this one uses a USB 3 micro-b connector. And it's not the most common cable, so getting a longer cable proved to be a noticeable additional expense to remove my hub from my computer. Also, it seems to work well as you would expect from a USB hub. It can't really be used for charging though, it's a data hub so use it for data devices, but if you're going to use it to charge your phone use a charging hub.
