I bought two of these stockings for my two older cats. Magpie and Minnie Meg. They're not very playful, but this variety was enough to keep them entertained for a while. And I couldn't miss them at Christmas! I bought a green one for my little kitty boy and two red ones for the girls. Both stockings of this brand contain the same toys, only in different colors. I checked the last set for what my cat thinks about toys. I will consider this set based on my girlfriend's reviews. The stocking is made of disposable plastic. I don't think it's meant to be reusable. It is slightly smaller than a normal stocking. It only measures about 7 inches long and 4 inches wide (at its widest point). But for a cat I would say it's the right size. It's filled to the brim with twelve cat toys. All toys are different, do not give duplicates. I thought that was really cool. I also love that it comes in different shades of red (there's a green stocking too - if you want to go for that array). In Magpie's and Minnie Meg's stockings they received: 1 toy bell. This is a small red fabric stocking connected to an elastic red rope that can be pulled or tied to a surface. Your cat can pull, grab and play with the toy, and the elastic rope lets it bounce for longer playtime. The stocking also has a golden bell. My girl probably found this the most interesting because it dangles rather than sits on the floor. 1 bell toy in a cage. It's not a sphere, it's a cylinder. This one doesn't roll very easily. It only rolls in a straight line, so cats can't push it themselves. My girls didn't like it that much. It was more of a taster toy. 1 small rattle toy. My girls love exploring the streets and sometimes catching mice. The only time one of them will notice it in this toy is when the other does. I think they are jealous and don't want the other to have a mouse. Nonsense. 1 small felt mouse. This toy is pretty small. Maybe it's because my girls are spoiled in catching big mice, but they don't really like these ones. 1 small green rattle. It's a bit strange. It's a small red plastic soccer ball with rattles inside. Not sure what this has to do with Christmas other than it coincides with football season? It also doesn't roll very well due to its shape. Not my cat's favorite toy, but cute. 1 plastic rattle. It's like the cheap cat toys you buy at your local pet store. It's a plastic ball with a net cage and a bell in the middle. Light enough to move easily over carpeted floors. I like this one because all my cats can play together. One pushes it, the other climbs and vice versa. 1 red tinsel ball. This one is really unique. In fact, this is a ball of red tinsel. Shiny, shiny and light. The tinsel doesn't roll very easily, but the texture is so fun and shiny that it easily catches my girls' attention. 1 green tinsel ball. This is the exact same product I was just talking about, only in green. 1 large stuffed animal heart. At first I thought it was a catnip toy, but it's not. None of the toys in this set contain catnip (which I appreciate - I'm not a big fan of the stuff and find it unethical for cats). In fact, it's just a full heart. It's red and made of faux fur with gold accents. One of my girls loves sleeping with her like a little stuffed animal. The other just beats her around. 1 green and red mini tennis ball. It's just a small, lightweight tennis ball. The outside is made of the same material as the tennis ball. My cats, for some odd reason, love to bite it. Its texture gives them something to grab with their teeth, but it's too big to hold on to hard. But they try - oh yes, they try. 1 green and silver rattle. That's the size of a tennis ball. It is a green felt ball wrapped in silver tinsel. In the middle is a rattle. The rattles and sparkles attract my cats, but only if I squeeze the ball first. You will not initiate the game yourself. Finally, a plush mouse. This one is slightly larger than the other two, but still interesting. It's made of rope-like material with spring inserts on the back. One of my cats will set and trim the feathers by licking them. The other likes to attack her. Overall I liked this set. The toys are well made and hold their shape well. My cat loves them. The Christmas theme is very cute. And there are no catnip toys, so I don't have to worry about monitoring my cat's behavior. I really liked this set and will definitely buy it again!
