After almost 2 years of use, I think I can give a better analysis. and he. e. We have often used a small morning egg frying pan and the non-stick surface has come off by about 50%, requiring a thorough cleaning to remove food debris without removing more non-stick surface, and we only use Teflon cooking tools, no metal touches the surface. I love the comfort of the handles and the clean fit of the clear lids. The pans, used only sporadically, are still in excellent condition and we enjoy using them. Not good for some of the sauces I've tried making and require non-stick or copper pans.
