Review on Acer Predator Z35P Bmiphz - πŸ–₯️ 3440x1440, 100Hz, Curved Monitor with HD Display by Joel Eriksson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great but expensive purchase. Amazing if you appreciate G-Sync and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Pros: Nice monitor. Accelerates easily to 120 Hz. Stable stand, many entrances and exits. Its VA panel delivers stunning blacks and the improved contrast ratio is immediately noticeable in games and movies. The more aggressive 1800R curve offers more immersion no matter what you're doing. , while you have to move your head less to see something on the screen. The included speakers are small but decent. Pass-through audio and USB connections are also good. I didn't notice any motion blur or ghosting, and the backlight bleeding was minimal. eg: It's a bit annoying to connect the inputs since they are on the bottom of the monitor. The tilt helps with that, but it's still a pain. A VA panel has poorer viewing angles than an IPS panel, which is clearly noticeable when you move your head. The menu navigation is really annoying, although I think most screen displays take up a lot of desktop space, so be sure to take that into account. Summary: This monitor is great, the ultra wide 3440x1440 @ 120Hz G-Sync is an amazing experience. However, keep in mind that you are essentially paying for the G-Sync module and the extra 20Hz. A very similar monitor without these features can be purchased at a significantly reduced price.
