It's hard to write about the parts of the Whiteside router that haven't been written yet. Like all Whiteside products, this beat is just a small work of art. Absolutely perfect workmanship, high-quality carbide is incredibly sharp and seems to cut forever before it needs sharpening. The slightly higher initial cost of a whiteside cutter compared to a cheap imported cutter is quickly offset by the fact that a whiteside cutter can cut many times the length of a cheap cutter without tearing or damaging the expensive workpiece. This drill bit has made smooth, consistent cuts in softwood and hardwood for grooving on multiple projects and still cuts like new.
