Review on TEKCHIC 60W Professional Wood Burning Kit: Pro Pyrography Tool with 20 Wire Nibs Tips and Ball Tips (with Case) by Sasha Hsiao

This is my second wood burning set from Tekchic. I used to have a 50W that I liked so I was looking forward to the new 60W. The burner arrived quickly and I love that it comes in its own carrying case! The kit includes two grips that can be plugged in and toggled back and forth at the same time, so you don't have to keep changing attachments. Changing tips isn't as easy as it is with 50W in my opinion, but it's by no means a problem. The handles are more tactile and ideal for small hands like mine. There is a good selection of springs that are under 50w which is great for the two shields I started with to get a feel for the pins and springs. Originally I wanted to give 4 stars because the "cartridge" on one of the handles was defective. Tekchic has great customer service and Claire understood my problem and sent me another pen. Thanks to a great product and great customer service, I've increased my rating to a 5! I look forward to burning through many more projects with this 60W burner! I've been using my burner for a few months now and absolutely love it! Heat remains fairly consistent and the dual knobs make it easy to switch contacts when needed. I had no issues after replacing the pen and couldn't be happier with it. Attached are a few photos of recent work. Update again: ok have been using this wood burner for a while now and still love it. I've recently had problems with temperature fluctuations. Claire, who is great at customer service, consulted with the techs and they suggested changing my tips which may be charred which made sense as I've been using them for a while. I changed the nozzles and of course the burner burns the way I like it again. Until next time, happy burning!
