Leak detection in modern cars where you can hardly see anything under the hood. Combine the dye with a good UV light like this: Mastercool 53517-UV 17 LED True UV Detection Flashlight and you'll find the source quickly. Especially if you wait until sunset, the color glows like a glow stick.
