Priced to match this needle group. is a worthy value. However, they are not very well made. The 13/9mm size I received was so rough on the ends that it couldn't be used. When I tried to insert them into the yarn they immediately got caught on the fibers. I couldn't make a single stitch without snapping the thread and I'm 100% sure the splinters would have gotten into my fingers too. I had to sand them down before I could use them. First with 150 grit to smooth out the imperfections, then with 1500 grit for polishing. after that they were fine again. I've been knitting for years, so I knew they wouldn't be great for the price, but I expected them to be usable without having to "finish" them myself. I bought these for my daughter who is learning to knit and so far they fit her. I will keep my 150 and 1500 grit sandpaper in the needle pack so I can repair the needles if different sizes need to be used. propensity to grind needles as needed to make them usable then this purchase will not disappoint. If you are a beginner knitter who wants to be able to pick up your needles and work on your project, you can spend a little more and get a better product. I gave this product 3 stars for the number of pairs of needles. What do you get for the price and since they are on Revain I got them surprisingly quickly.
