I really like these. They fit well but the quality of the materials needs to be more durable. In particular, I use them to hold a flat LED strip. It actually fits the clamps very well, but the material of the clamps tends to warp them. Simply put, they are not of high quality and not robust enough. The clamping part tends to bend depending on what you are holding on to. I bought two sets to use the two together to hang more things, but I doubt these things can handle the lightest of lanterns, flags, let alone anything larger like a tarp or sunscreen. They work, but the lack of rigidity on this product severely limits what you can hang from them. I recommend only using them for small garlands (read: Christmas lights). Something heavier, like an LED light that requires a backlit rubber hose, might just not be able to handle it.
