Review on Greenlee 02801 Change 16 Inch 6 Inch by Jason Regalado

I have been using the Greenlee 830Q quick change drill for about 5 years and am very happy with it. But recently part of the mandrel bent causing the pilot drill to wobble and the hole saws wobbled around the pilot drill causing the holes to be larger than intended. This is a big problem when installing a plastic bushing in a hole - the bushing won't stay in place if the hole is too big. After checking with Greenlee that they were out of warranty I decided to buy a replacement shaft but with a larger shaft in hopes of avoiding the same problem again. Unfortunately, the replacement exhibits similar wobbling. For those who think the problem is clearly with my drill. it is not. Both waves show the same vibration in 6 different drills, 4 of which are mine. In addition, the pilot drill from each mandrel rotates correctly when removed from the mandrel and inserted directly into the drill chuck. The same goes for the other bits - they all turn correctly.
