I couldn't find any locking mechanisms for the rear doors on anyone, so I took this front mechanism and hoped it worked. Yes, but there is an additional lever for the handle that has to go to the lock cylinder when it is installed in the front door. If you install it on the tailgate, this lever will bind and prevent it from working properly. However, I was able to easily cut this lever off with metal scissors and still mount it. That works great. However, there's no lever to activate the child locks (as that's for the front door). So if you don't need child safety locks on your rear doors, this will work. Get rid of the charlatan WJ!
