I read about this in another review before buying but got too excited after unplugging my CPU so forgot about it and ended up causing a massive headache. fine. The temperature was good most of the day, at night I noticed it was basically the same temperature before I removed the eyelids and I turned off the power and explored, I removed the cooler to a liquid paste nightmare everywhere to see i pulled the entire motherboard to clean but it looked bad, to my fear after i pulled out the processor some of it somehow got into the socket. It can be cleaned with patience, I messed it up, bent pins and just upgraded my motherboard and CPU. I'll take another megabyte for the old processor and build a separate computer, I've been thinking about an upgrade anyway. some of it until it thickens. I pre-spread a little X and the temps seem to be about average for the CPU air cooler I'm using so I wouldn't say it's rubbish. Be careful with this though, thermal paste is not easy to remove from the socket
