I Hate Oops - Thermostats
The thermostat didn't fit perfectly. The rim had to be notched further to match the car's factory ports and the diameter was perhaps 1/128 inch too large to prevent leaks. I can't say I'm completely satisfied, but I had to fix it right away, so I sanded the part a bit and sealed it with caulking paste.
