My wife is one of those people who doesn't like "change". Her old computer ended up "tired" and we had to buy her a new one. It just arrived a few weeks ago. Your old computer had three USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, and one USB C port. Unfortunately, the new one only has two USB 3.0 ports and one USB C port. Previously, she used her old computer's USB 2.0 port to connect a printer, she used two USB 3.0 ports for two external hard drives, and a USB-C port to connect a laptop cooling pad. She left a USB 3.0 port free unless she really needed it (rarely). But now with this new computer - what to do? She also has a cell phone and Bluetooth headphones. She has two chargers so she can charge both at the same time, that is if she remembers where she left the chargers. Sometimes she'll take one (or both) down, and then when she needs one or both she has to go downstairs to get them (assuming she remembers where she left them). O sorrow! Then it's luck! Rewain Vine suggested this to me < Powered USB 3.0 Hub, ikuai 7 Port Aluminum USB Hub Splitter with 4 USB 3.0 Data Ports + 3 Fast Charging Ports, USB Charging Hub with 36W 12V/3A Power Adapter, Individual Power Switch (RSW- 37) > [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08TMG979F] and I ordered it right away. He arrived last week. My wife looked at it and "cried!" She didn't like it - she had nowhere to go - it wouldn't do her any good - the right wires would "get in the way" - she wouldn't remember how and when to turn the switches should use - and so on. etc. etc. I connected everything to her. I connected this hub to one of the USB 3.0 ports, the printer to another USB 3.0 port, and the laptop cooling pad to a USB C port. I connected all four of their Western Digital 2TB external drives to this USB hub and connected two USB 3.0 cables to USB Micro to the charging ports. Then I showed here exactly what she had to do. She could leave the two chargers down "forever" and use the attached cables to charge her phone and headphones at the same time (if she wanted to). When the switch was pressed, the blue LED lit up. And when she needed to charge her phone and/or headphones, all she had to do was press the switch and the red LED would light up. I'm sorry for the long story but I have to tell you that after using this hub for a few days she now says she can't live without it! She says it couldn't be easier to use and she loves it! The design quality and build quality are excellent. And while she hasn't activated all four of her drives at the same time yet, I have no reason to believe they won't all work perfectly together. So far she has used two drives while (only) charging her mobile phone and everything has worked perfectly (as I expected). For just $27.99 (current price here at Revain), I think you simply can't go wrong with this powered USB hub. And since my wife quickly changed her mind, I give this Ikuai hub my ABSOLUTE HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION. Thank you for reading all of this. Lawrence H. Balk
