Works perfectly in my setup with JVC head unit and SXV300 Sirius adapter. Looks strong enough to withstand the rigors of a boat when installed outdoors in a fully open area. Far superior to the standard antenna supplied with the SXV300 Sirius. Note that this is a large device, approximately 3-1/2" in diameter and 1-1/2" tall. You'll need about 1 inch of clear space below the surface you're bolting it to to accommodate the threaded shaft and cable.
