Review on πŸš€ Spectre Performance Carburetor Riser Plate by Alan Brewer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked perfectly, didn't need a balancing mechanism

Complete the task. Raised an all iron Chevy 350 automatic transmission (TH350) that weighs about 750 pounds outside and inside. The plate is flat. Never a cause for concern. A lifting ring was used on the back of the outlet to allow transmission. Therefore, the engine-transmission combination was mounted at an angle of 15 degrees to the horizontal. It wasn't enough. On the way back I used the middle lifting ring. This resulted in a 30 degree tilt. The balance was perfect. I had to push down with my hand a little to remove the firewall and push up with my hand a little to remove the transmission cross member. This is ideal as I didn't want the added expense and height associated with adding a balance adjustment mechanism.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not the best
