So far so good, just received and easy to install. You will need a drill, a hole punch, drill bits (a smaller one to start the hole and a larger one to finish it. A step drill is the way to go if you have one), a 1/2" wrench and a 1/2 socket, t-25 and tt-15. First remove the taillights so you can use the drilling template. After you have drilled both sides, you can put the xtender HD together. The way I did this was that I attached both ends of the Xtender HD to the truck and then measured how far the center pieces would go into the ends (only need to measure and mark 1 piece). After that remove one end and attach all 3 pieces to the other end, make sure to write down the measurements, attach the other side and measure b4, you tighten everything. This works great with my soft triple lid, although I have to fold the lid twice so it can be pulled out or removed. Overall I'm happy and it was cheaper than the dealer wanted. Only the plastic clips for the tailgate look cheap, but not scary.
