Review on 📶 Linksys N750 Dual-Band Gigabit Router with USB Ports, Smart Wi-Fi App for Remote Network Control (EA3500) by Marcos Oner

My 5 year old Linksys E2500 was a great router but I felt I needed a little more range for my mobile devices. EA3500 (N750) promised it. And yes, it had slightly better range, although not as much as I was hoping. Because I was so happy with the previous product, I didn't trawl through all 5,000 reviews, so I didn't have any horror until I got it: You have two options - either let Linksys manage your router themselves, or you follow the complicated reset process to a frozen firmware time, no upgrade option for security issues, etc. And if you do the latter, they give you a lecture on what a loser you are. That's right, Linksys wants access to your router, the most sensitive part of your system in terms of privacy and security. To add insult to injury, I would call this a "broken". I often fail to manage my own router because I get "Bad Gateway" when I try to log in. Either the site is down or my browser cache is messed up. Anyway, I've never had this problem - I can't talk to the router right in front of me - in all my decades as a router owner. Wonderful. go back!
