I haven't had them that long but they're definitely doing the job so far. They're hot as F so you really need to make sure you have the right mount or you'll cook up a lizard or snake or whatever you use with it. The temperature fluctuates a bit, but that's not a cause for concern for me. He stays within reach, which is really the only job I care about. BE CAREFUL where you store your ceramic radiant heaters and make sure they are the right size/wattage - I can't stress this enough. I can easily imagine someone lighting a fire when they behave stupidly and don't follow the right rules. In terms of durability, I've only used this for 2 weeks so no issues to report.
