Review on Honeywell FC100A1029 Replacement Filter by Nordic Pure: Improve Air Quality with Efficiency by Alif Wills

This is the third time I have ordered these filters. Each time they have been exactly as described, well packaged and delivered in perfect condition. I change our filters every six months since we don't have pets, and I also installed cheap filters to keep lint out of each of our return air grilles. Homes with heavy traffic and pets are likely to need replacements more frequently. We have two zoned HVAC units and after the concrete dust disaster a few years ago due to a failed new HVAC installation (long story) I installed a 16 x 25 x 5 inch filter housing in the center return of both HVAC units. After we returned indoors as we had to replace all HVAC ducts, I regularly measured the particle levels in all parts of the house with a laser particle detector and our air quality with these filters was exceptional. Rural Missouri is notorious for having allergens, but family members with severe allergies are far more comfortable in our home than they are in their own home. Sure, we've tried to convince them to spend a few hundred dollars to install better filters in their homes, but it's baffling that despite the evidence and allergy drug spending, they don't want to invest in cleaner air. But very glad that at least the air in our house is great thanks to those filters (and a properly sealed HVAC duct system).
