Love the look and can be adapted to a full size 4x4 bar with very little work.
AL Although they're made of plastic, we think they look great. They look like cast metal. I placed them on life size 4x4 posts by nailing a 3.5 x 3.5 inch thick piece of scrap metal onto the post. You won't be able to tell that a scrap piece has been used and it's a lot easier than cutting off the top of a post. Some reviews said they break, but they're fine as long as you don't over-tighten the screws. After all, they are made of plastic. Much better than wooden caps which are more expensive and split.
